Thank you to everyone who prayed and sent us good vibes this past week. Jeremy's dad is finally in the clear, and will possibly be going home early this week. He had a very close call, but thankfully that is all it was, a close call. And he's probably healthier now than before this scare! We are back home now, and trying to resume normal life again. We will start posting photos on the blog again tomorrow as well. Jeremy did get one photo the first night at the hospital, actually the next morning, after we spent the night there. The image looks very surreal to me, like most of last week was. To see the image, check out his blog. .
We had a family emergency today, so we have no pics to share with ya'll. We ask for prayers for Jeremy's dad, Richard. We will update and let everyone know what's up when we have more to tell. Keep checking back for more info.
This couple has got to be the best looking couple I've ever had the opportunity to photograph. Of course they are my parents, so I may be a little biased.
After 35+ years of marriage, they are still in love, and sometimes act like a couple of teens when they're together. Our family has had the same typical hardships as most families, but these 2 stuck it out through the best and worst, and I admire them so much for their dedication to one another, and the examples they were for me as role models! Eh, of course I think quite highly of them, I do resemble them after all! I love the next image!!
Jeremy and I woke up early yesterday morning to catch the sun rising, but because it was so foggy, we didn't get to see much of the sun at all. When we were leaving the park, we came across a huge flock of geese just hanging out in the roadway, who then noticed us and took off and headed for the water:
