I photographed this little beauty the other day, and I have to say I love capturing the little ones at this age. They still aren't quite big enough to run away from me, but big enough to give me smiles and be quite entertaining to say the least. Aleighia was no exception, and she was a wonderful model for me! It has been a treat to watch and capture her as she grows in her first year, I can't believe she's almost one already! Just a few of my favorites:
I got to spend some time with this beautiful little girl yesterday, along with her mom and dad, at McFarland Park in Ames. I got to photograph her earlier this year, but this time we included the whole family. She's pretty entertaining to watch! Maybe it was the 2 sleeves of Pez candy that she got from me, but she was fun! Mom and Dad: I hope I was able to wear Izzi down a little bit for you, and that the sugar wore off quickly. Next time I'll have to try a different bribe. Or a different dispenser!
Jeremy and I had a busy day in Des Moines with the family. Alexis and Lelani are competing in the AAU Junior Olympics tomorrow, so today we spent the day with everyone. Competition is tomorrow and we wish them the best of luck!!! I'll post later about the weekend.
This
week I got to photograph Aleigha for her 6 month baby portraits, and
she is sure growing fast! She has some of the most beautiful eyes, and
gorgeous long eyelashes. She was a hoot to photograph, so full of
smiles for me, at least when she wasn't trying to eat the flowers. I
couldn't wait to share a few images:
Yesterday I got to shoot this adorable couple and their first baby to
be! They were a wonderful couple to work with and I enjoyed my time
getting to know them. Here's just a couple from the session as I'm
still trying to tie up ends to a crazy week!
I got to spend the afternoon with this little girl last week. I photographed her when she was still just a belly. For her newborn session she was awake and quite alert the whole time. For her 3 month session, she was just as alert, but she was a happy baby and cooperated pretty well for us. I can't wait to photograph Aleigha again this summer!
