Summer at the Farm

 I'm a couple days behind right now, but I wanted to post this one at least before I got busy today.  In February I posted some images of a farm I had photographed. You can view them HERE. So, here is the same scene from the winter photos, or close to it, in all summer glory!  I have several more I'd love to show from that day, but this is it for now. . .

Yesterday's Wedding

We got to be a part of a simple, yet so elegant and gorgeous ceremony.  The event was held at the Zion Church in Winterset, Iowa:

It was really a perfect ceremony and a perfect day!  We wish the 2 of you a lifetime of blessings!

Princess's 5th Birthday!

I absolutely adore this little girl!  She facinates and entertains me.  I just love her carefree spirit!  Yesterday we celebrated with a party and ice cream cake!  After she tried on her new dress, she wouldn't take it off.  She even posed for a few shots to show it off:

We got to photograph this beautiful family this evening, and had a fun time with them!

 

Senior Session

Ya know, Iowa weather really stinks.  Here's a sneak preview to a couple indoor images, but we had to postpone any outdoor stuff because it was raining.  Looking forward to doing the rest of the session soon!

 

Family Session

We loved working with this family!  The kids are just naturals in front of the camera, and mom and dad aren't bad either!  Thanks for coming out tonight, guys.  It was good times!  I can't wait to show you the rest of them!

Big, Big Tree

Our friends found this tree one day and thought it was intriguing, so this weekend they took us along to see it.  The trunk is so enormous in size, and so many knots and twists and bends. . .

 Does anyone else see a face in this image???

Our friends did NOT want to be photographed. . .  yeah - whatever!  We're gonna shoot ya anyway!

LOL, I figured if we got far enough away, they wouldn't mind ;)!!  We had lots of fun site-seeing for the afternoon, and we definitely have to go back in the fall!

Another lab I could love.

This is Kaiser, a 2 year old lab Jeremy and I had a session with yesterday.  He is one of the easiest 2 year olds I've ever worked with!  I love this tongue shot we got:

It wasn't long before he dove into the water to play.  Eh, typical lab!
