Sleeping Princess

I had a wild day of fun with Princess today.  We played games, rode rides, ate ice cream, made some lip gloss, painted pictures together, ate more ice cream. . . so we went to that cute little pink store that girls get glamoured up at, and she came out a blonde princess!  I was about this exhausted when I got home:

Storm Clouds

Although we were blessed with this magical show of clouds, my heart goes out to the families who weren't so fortunate with the storms last night.

E-Session

Jeremy and I had an engagement session with this awesome couple today!  We had a really good time, and I'm so excited with what we got!  First time shooting in this small town, we actually found quite a few places to use as locations.  Here are some I said I would post.  These are just a few that really stood out to me!

Prairie View

Last week I had the privilege to join my newphew and his class on their field trip to the Neal Smith Center in Prairie City.  It's where the buffalo roam, but of course they didn't get very close to the group of rowdy kids, so no pics of them.  If anyone is thinking of visiting this area, I would suggest waiting until summer when they have blooming flowers and taller grasses to view, because really, if you can't get within a mile of the 40 some buffalo they have roaming around the area, you'll just feel pretty cheated.  We also saw glimpses of elk and a coyote, but they were also too far away.  The most wild of the animals was actually on the big yellow bus, but I didn't have permission to photograph them. .  Here is a pic of the educational center located on the prairie:

I got nothing.

I've been busy with upgrading my website. . yes, again!  But Jeremy finally posted on his blog, so check that out!  If anyone knows what kind of tree that is, let me know please.  He shot this at Saylorville Park, if that helps any.

Tomorrow I'll update with some new pics!

Can ya do that???

I had a client call last night to ask if I could design something for their wedding ceremony programs.  "Of course," I said.  It got me thinking that many of my clients don't know just what we can do!  Yes, we do portraits, but we also will design just about anything you need!  Here is a short list of what we can design for our clients:

  • business cards
  • business logos
  • wedding invitations
  • graduation announcements
  • birth announcements
  • senior buzz cards
  • menus
  • place cards
  • bookmarks
  • gift tags
  • thank you cards

Most of our products are created with images from your past sessions with us, but we will also create products with no images at all, or with graphics and general stock images.  If you have a project for us, give us a call, we will create almost anything for our clients!
