I know not many are probably excited about the munchkins gettting a star in Hollywood, but I am!!! Because I once knew one of them, and he is one of the surviving seven!
Ok, I'll back up. When I worked at a restaurant in high school, we had this man come in all the time! If I remember right, he was there every Sunday, and usually by himself. Someone put a bug in my and my friend's ear that he was in the Wizard of Oz, so of course you know what we did then. We asked him, and he said yes, and then he sang for us! He was always one of our nicest customers, and one I always enjoyed seeing! His name is Karl Slover, and if you haven't read about the munchkins' new star, go check it out!
More good news. My website has been updated and you can see some new photos on there. I'm still doing some tweaking, but for the most part, it is done. I will have prices on there by next year, but I'm also in the middle of changing those as well. Check out the specials area where you can find out more about my rates increasing and how still get my intro prices!
I already had a couple people tell me they were disappointed to not see any photos from the farm shoot I recently did, so here are a couple from that!
My goodness, I've been so busy! I thought I'd pop in and at least post an update, but I have no pics to post. I've been working on updating my website, getting some new stuff on there. Check back for when I have it updated! I'm also busy with finishing up some sessions for the year. The last couple weeks I have been photographing a beautiful family farm where they are tearing down several old sheds and a barn. Last week I did a senior session, and I think the poor gal practically froze - she still looked beautiful, though! It's getting pretty cold to be out shooting, but I am a little excited for the snow, but just to get pics and then it can go away!
I was driving around, looking for a barn (another story there) and came across these trees that I thought looked pretty. When I looked closer, I saw a herd of deer in the trees. By the time I had my camera ready they were already gone. I sat there and waited for a moment and I saw one pop back over the hill, checking me out. He was pretty far away, but seemed to be very aware of me too:
Look closely, he's back there!
